Here's how it works. SunWorks Solar will install remote-controlled power switch/surge protectors for your TVs, sound systems, computers, etc. You can choose which electronics remain on constantly and which ones shut off completely when you hit the easy-to-access remote control switch. Let's use your home theatre as an example. You'll want your DVR to stay on constantly and your TV, audio amp, DVD player, etc to shut off completely. If you have a home office, you'll want to leave your answering machine and DSL router on at all times, but completely shut off your computer and printer to conserve energy.

By simply pushing the remote transmitter button, you can easily turn off the power to individual electronics that are not needed. The system comes with 8-outlet surge protector and wireless remote switch with optional wall mount. Six of the outlets can be turned on and off remotely. Two stay on all the time. In addition, each switch provides surge protection to a maximum spike current of 72,000A.
